Baazeem Trading Co. completed the installation of a new production line for sponge products at its factory located in Asfan, Makkah. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the new production line is designed to meet the increasing local demand for sponge products and strengthen its ability to serve the domestic consumers.

Trial operations for the new line are set to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with full-scale production scheduled to begin at the start of the second quarter of 2025.
Baazeem anticipates that the financial impact of the new production line will be appear in its Q2 2025 financial statements.
The project was entirely financed through the company’s internal cash flows, without resorting to external funding sources, the statement added.
