AlJazira Takaful Taawuni Co.’s board of directors decided today, April 13, to appoint Abdulrahman Alobrah as CEO, who will claim his position as of July 13.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said Alobrah holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from King Saud University in Riyadh, in addition to several professional certifications in the insurance sector.

The company added that he has around 23 years of experience in the insurance industry, during which he held several leadership positions across insurance companies, most recently serving as CEO of Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Co. (SAICO).

Throughout his career, he has held multiple executive and senior management roles within the insurance sector, contributing to operational leadership and business development across various companies.

According to Argaam data, the board had recently approved the resignation of Sager Nadershah from his role as managing director and board member, as well as from committee memberships under the board.
