JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received on Sunday phone calls from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The leaders reiterated their support to Saudi Arabia in the wake of the Iranian attacks. During the call, the Crown Prince and Tebboune discussed the serious developments in the region. The Algerian president expressed his country’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability in the face of the blatant Iranian attacks, saying that these undermine regional security and stability. The Crown Prince and Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis discussed developments in the region in light of the ongoing military escalation and its repercussions on regional and international security. The blatant Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and other friendly countries are mainly figured in their talks.
