Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors, through a resolution by circulation dated April 13, 2025, approved the appointment of Dalal Burhan as Acting CEO, effective April 30, 2025, for a period of six months.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said Burhan currently serves as Chief Technical Officer.

Burhan brings over 16 years of professional experience in the insurance sector, along with strong academic and professional credentials. She holds a Fellowship Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in London, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King Saud University (KSU), and several specialized certifications in insurance and risk management.

The board also decided to terminate the contract of Managing Director Yasser Al Harbi, effective May 14, 2025. He will continue to serve as a non-executive board member.

According to data available with Argaam, Al Sagr approved an organizational restructuring in January 2024, appointing Yasser Al Harbi as Managing Director with full executive powers to manage the company.
