Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. appointed Mohammed Al-Sheikh, an independent board member, as Vice Chairman, succeeding the late Rasheed Al-Owain. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the board also named Chairman Bader Alaujan, an independent member, to the nominations and remuneration committee.
The appointments are effective immediately and will run through the remainder of the current board term.
Al-Owain, who passed away yesterday April 12 at the age of 67, was Vice Chairman and a board member, as well as a member of the nominations and remuneration and executive committees. He was also a co-founder of Argaam Investment Co.
