Al-Ghat Wind energy project received a major shipment at Jubail Commercial Port of around 65,000 cubic meters, including key components for the 600 MW project’s generation unit, towers, and blades. 
The Ministry of Energy said on X that the project is part of the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), which it supervises.
The ministry added that the project achieved one of the world’s lowest wind power costs, at about $0.0157 per kilowatt-hour.
