Japanese banks have expressed interest in providing loans to Saudi companies, in addition to supporting the development of financial products aligned with the ambitions of Saudi capital markets, Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih stated.

In a speech at the Saudi-Japan Investment Forum at Expo 2025 Osaka, Al-Falih noted that the next step in banking cooperation between the two countries is to broaden its scope through joint investment platforms such as the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and the Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI).

He added that Saudi Arabia offers growth built on strong fundamentals and sovereign commitment.
