Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. said its board accepted today, March 29, the resignation of CEO Hussam Alkannas, which was submitted for personal reasons. 
This resignation will come into effect starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
It added that any further developments for appointing a new CEO will be duly announced.
According to Argaamdata, Alkannas has assumed his position as the company’s CEO since 2016.
