Al Battal Factory for Chemical Industries Co. received a letter on Jan. 22 from the loss adjuster regarding the insurance claim for damages caused by a fire at one of the company’s facilities on July 4, 2025.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said, according to the approved assessment, the net insurance entitlement amounted to SAR 21.83 million.

It noted that it had previously received an advance payment of SAR 6 million, leaving a remaining net amount of SAR 15.83 million to be settled under the assessment.

The final settlement of the remaining amount is subject to completing the required technical documentation and requirements in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy, including proof of the commencement of rehabilitation and repair work.

Al Battal Factory confirmed that it is continuing to carry out the necessary regulatory and technical procedures with the insurance company and the loss adjuster to meet all requirements and secure the remaining payments.

Any material developments with a financial impact will be announced in accordance with applicable regulations, the statement said.

The company also reaffirmed its full commitment to applying the highest standards of risk management and safety while continuing efforts to enhance operational sustainability and protect shareholders’ interests.

According to data available with Argaam, Al Battal Factory reported, on July 6, that a limited fire had occurred at one of company’s facilities in Dammam, affecting the packaging area, administration building, and the final product inspection warehouse.
