ACWA Power announced that it would receive the total proceeds from the rump share sale, while the surplus over the offer price will be distributed to entitled shareholders by Aug. 5.
The company recently completed its rights trading and subscription period, during which 32.65 million shares were subscribed out of 33.93 million offered, representing a 96.2% subscription rate.
The subscription period began on July 6, offering 33.93 million ordinary shares at SAR 210 each, as part of a SAR 7.13 billion rights issue.
The capital increase will raise ACWA Power’s capital by 4.63%, from SAR 7.32 billion (732.56 million shares) to SAR 7.66 billion (766.49 million shares).
