Reason for Capital Increase
To allow ACWA Power to anchor its growth strategy of tripling the assets under management by 2030 and enhance its financial position.
According to Argaam‘s data, ACWA Power said earlier that its shareholders would vote on the board’s recommendation on increasing its capital by way of SAR 7.12 billion rights issue during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for June 30. It added that it would disclose the proposed details on the number of new shares, offering price, and the capital increase amount after the market closes on the EGM date, or ahead of the meeting.
