A survey by Argaam showed the investments of local equity investment funds in the petrochemical sector, based on Q4 2025 quarterly funds bulletin, which discloses the top 10 holdings of each fund.

The survey is based on the Saudi market’s investment funds that reached108 by the end of 2025, with net assets of SAR 41.2 billion.

According to the survey, there is a variation in investment fund ownership of petrochemical companies, with SABIC Agri-Nutrients ranking first, followed by SABIC and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG).

The number of funds holding shares in SABIC Agri-Nutrients reached 17, with total investments of SAR 266.7 million. The average investment ratio stood at 1.0% (investment value in the company relative to the total assets of all investing funds). Meanwhile, SABIC ranked first in terms of total investment value at SAR 293.6 million, held by 12 investment funds.

A survey, based on quarterly fund disclosures of their top 10 investments, also showed that Jadwa Investment ranked as the largest investor in the petrochemical sector with investments worth SAR 459.6 million, followed by Al Rajhi Capital with SAR 218.8 million.

Meanwhile, the petrochemical sector accounted for the highest share of net asset value (NAV) for Ashmore Investment Saudi Arabia, at 20.3%, followed by Jadwa Investment (8.2%), among the top 10 asset managers by investment value.
