Power and Water Utility Co. for Jubail and Yanbu (MARAFIQ) said the revised electricity and water service tariffs are expected to increase revenue by approximately 4% of its 2025 sales, with the impact starting in Q1 2027. 
The company said this estimate followed an assessment of the financial impact of the revised electricity and water service tariffs approved under the regulatory framework governing required revenue.
According to Argaam data, MARAFIQ announced on Oct. 26 that the tariffs had been revised in accordance with the governance procedures for amending energy and water product prices. The revised tariffs will take effect on Jan. 1, 2027.
