Marble Design Factory Co. shareholders approved changing the company’s name at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Oct. 27, according to a statement to Tadawul today. 
The EGM also approved amendments to the remuneration policy for the board, executive management and board committees, as well as changes to Article 21 of the bylaws governing the powers of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Managing Director and Secretary.
According to Argaam data, the board recommended changing the company’s name to Marble Design on Sept. 15.
In April, the board approved the company’s transfer from the Nomu Parallel Market to the Main Market (Tadawul).
The company has a capital of SAR 75 million, divided into shares with a nominal value of SAR 1 each.
