Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said energy security requires more resilient systems, sustained investment, and reliable partnerships capable of addressing challenges and ensuring continuity of supply. 
Speaking at Singapore International Energy Week 2026, the minister said energy security depends on the resilience of the entire system and the reliability of partnerships under pressure. He noted that reliable energy supplies support industrial development across Asian economies, strengthen investor confidence, and help sustain prosperity.
The minister also stressed that achieving energy security requires cooperation between producing and consuming countries to protect infrastructure and supply routes. He added that Saudi Arabia looks forward to working with Singapore and its partners across Asia and around the world to strengthen resilience and support shared prosperity.
