Sadr Logistics Co. said Mohammed Al-Samaani had resigned as Chairman and as a board member for personal reasons. 
The company said in a statement on Tadawul that the board had approved the resignation today, Oct. 22, effective from the same date.
The board appointed Bandar Al-Samaani, a current board member, Vice Chairman, and Managing Director, as Chairman to succeed him. His appointment is effective Oct. 22 and will run until the end of the current board term on Sept. 15, 2028.
The board also ended Bandar Al-Samaani’s assignment as Managing Director.
In addition, the board appointed Khalid Al-Bakri, an independent board member and chairman of the nomination and remuneration committee, as Vice Chairman.
According to Argaam data, Sadr Logistics’ board elected Mohammed Al-Samaani as Chairman in September 2024.
