RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has introduced new measures allowing highly skilled foreign workers to bring eligible family members to the Kingdom while completing their work visa procedures, the Ministry of Interior announced Tuesday.The move, coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, is aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents in the Kingdom.Under the new measures, eligible heads of households can bring their spouses, sons under the age of 25 and unmarried daughters to Saudi Arabia.Family members’ entry visas can be issued concurrently with the completion of the highly skilled worker’s employment visa procedures, provided all application requirements are met.The ministry said residence permit procedures for family members can then be completed after their arrival in the Kingdom in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
