DOHA — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a written message to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, inviting him to attend the second Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-European Union (EU) Summit, scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia this month. Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad handed the message to the Emir during a reception at Lusail Palace in Doha. The ambassador conveyed to the Emir the greetings of the King, along with his wishes for continued health and happiness for the Emir, as well as further progress and prosperity for the Qatari people. On his part, the Emir conveyed his greetings to King Salman, along with his wishes for continued health and well-being for the King, as well as continued prosperity and progress for the Saudi people.During the reception, they reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen them.
