The seven OPEC+ member countries — Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman — decided to maintain in November 2026 the required production levels for September 2026.
In a statement, the Ministry of Energy said the seven countries renewed their commitment to the Declaration of Cooperation and will continue to hold monthly meetings to monitor market developments. The next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 1, 2026.
The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) held its 68th meeting and reaffirmed its continued monitoring of compliance with the production adjustments agreed at the 38th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting, held on Dec. 5, 2024, under the OPEC+ Declaration of Cooperation.
The committee stressed the critical importance of protecting international maritime shipping lanes to ensure the continuous and uninterrupted flow of energy supplies. It also expressed concern over attacks targeting energy infrastructure, noting that restoring damaged energy facilities to full operating capacity is a costly and time-consuming process that affects the overall availability of supplies.
