RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s strongest condemnation of the continued provocative actions by the Israeli occupation authorities and a group of extremist settlers against Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as their attacks on its sanctity and religious and historical status, under the protection of the occupation forces.Saudi Arabia reiterated its rejection of these violations of international law and the provocation they constitute to the feelings of Muslims worldwide. “The Kingdom condemns the Israeli statements regarding the annexation of areas in southern Lebanon and areas extending to the ‘yellow line’ in the Gaza Strip, and affirms its rejection of any Israeli expansionist attempt. It emphasizes the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital,” the ministry said in a statement, carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
