Tadawul trading screen
Foreign institutions were net sellers of nearly SAR 1.1 billion worth of TASI stocks during the week ended Sept. 17, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.
Foreign institutions accounted for 39.03% of total buy transactions and 44.17% of total sell trades on TASI.
Saudi institutional investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 551.2 million, backed mainly by corporates which bought shares worth SAR 951.6 million. Meanwhile, investment funds were net sellers of shares worth SAR 286.5 million, government entities (SAR 81 million) and institutional DPMs (SAR 32.9 million).
Saudi retail investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 712.9 million, comprising SAR 461 million by high-net-worth investors, SAR 324.3 million by individual investors, SAR 38.9 million by individual professional investors and SAR 33.4 million by individual DPMs.
