The Agricultural Development Fund (ADF) approved loans totaling SAR 600 million during the third quarter of 2026.

The loans aim to finance several activities, including automated poultry and sheep slaughterhouses, red meat production projects, livestock and feed markets, cold storage and freezing warehouses for agricultural products, and imports of agricultural products targeted under the food security program, the ADF said in a post on X.

The loan approvals will help boost domestic production, strengthen strategic stocks of essential commodities, and ensure the stability of food supply chains, it added.
