JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued a royal decree extending the service of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal as Advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of the Makkah region for another four years.Prince Khaled Al-Faisal has been serving as emir of Makkah since 2015. Earlier, he served as emir of Makkah from 2007 to 2013, before becoming Saudi minister of education, a position he held from 2013 to 2015. He also served as emir of the Asir region from 1971 to 2007.
