NEW DELHI — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Prime Minister Le Minh Hung of Vietnam on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit 2026 in New Delhi on Sunday.During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. They also discussed opportunities for economic, trade, and tourism cooperation, as well as supporting the partnership between the business sectors in both countries, in addition to exchanging views on issues of mutual interest. Prince Faisal also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit 2026. During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the two countries and the continuous coordination and alignment of positions on various issues.They also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia targeting areas in Saudi Arabia. The Bahraini minister expressed his country’s condemnation and strong denunciation of these attacks, as well as Bahrain’s support for Saudi Arabia and the measures it takes in response. The two sides also discussed joint efforts to de-escalate tensions, contributing to the consolidation of security, stability, and peace in the region. Meanwhile, Prince Faisal bin Farhan received on Sunday a phone call from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.During the call, they discussed the latest regional developments and ongoing efforts to contain the escalation in light of the rapidly evolving situation in the region. They also underscored the importance of unifying positions and strengthening consultations between the two countries, in a manner that supports the framework of joint Gulf action, safeguards the security of their states, and protects their national assets.
