Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus stood at SAR 61.5 billion in Q2 2026, up 62% year on year (YoY), according to the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Total merchandise exports rose 4% YoY in the second quarter to approximately SAR 285.98 billion, while the value of merchandise imports declined 5% to SAR 224.46 billion, according to GASTAT data.
Oil exports rose 9% during the period to SAR 203.42 billion, while non-oil exports declined by around 7% to SAR 82.6 billion, compared with the same period in 2025.
