Amwaj delays publishing its H1 2026 financial results due to the pending appointment of an external auditor

The company said in a statement on Tadawul that the delay was due to the extended period required to complete the review and publication of its consolidated annual financial statements for 2025, which were published on July 28, 2026.

This resulted in a delay in completing the regulatory procedures for appointing an external auditor to review and examine the preliminary financial statements for H1 2026.

The company noted that appointing the auditor requires approval from the general assembly.

Amwaj invited shareholders to attend the ordinary general meeting (OGM) scheduled for Sept. 20 to vote on appointing an external auditor, based on the audit committee’s recommendation.

Once shareholders approve the appointment, the company will complete the regulatory procedures for appointing and contracting the auditor and coordinate the commencement of the review. It will simultaneously finalize the financial statements and the requirements for the review and audit.

The company will publish the preliminary financial results once the auditor appointment procedures are completed, the review and audit work is finalized, and the financial statements are approved by the authorized parties.

Amwaj noted that procedures for stock trading suspension will be applied in accordance with the relevant listing rules, effective Sept. 2.

The company will provide monthly updates on the developments regarding its inability to publish the financial results and will announce any material developments without delay.
