Almasane Alkobra Mining Co. (AMAK) announced the identification of around 14 million tons of mineralized material at its Jabal Qaran project in Najran. 
The miner issued the statement to Tadawul based on an independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) report, compliant with the JORC Code for the Jabal Qaran project. The report was prepared by Cube Consulting.
The estimate includes 11.3 million tons of mineral resources classified under the JORC (2012) Code, in addition to around 2.7 million tons of unclassified mineralized material.
The 11.3 million tons of classified mineral resources comprise 9.7 million tons of polymetallic mineralization, grading 1.38% copper equivalent. Also, 1.5 million tons of gold mineralization, averaging 1.10 grams per ton of gold.
Further exploration drilling will focus on assessing the extensions of the existing mineralization in surrounding areas and at greater depths, as well as exploring other prospective areas within the project area, with the aim of evaluating opportunities to increase mineral resources in the future.
AMAK continues to conduct development-stage studies to convert the exploration license into a mining license, noting that it will announce any material developments in the future in accordance with the relevant regulations and instructions.
According to Argaamdata, AMAK announced in November 2025 the discovery of potentially economic mineral resources containing copper, zinc, gold, and silver ores at one of its exploration licenses in Najran.
