JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman offered condolences to Norwegian King Haakon VIII over the death of King Harald V of Norway.In separate cables of condolences, the King and the CrownPrince expressed their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to King Haakon VIII, the family of the deceased, and the friendly people of Norway. They wished King Haakon VIII continued health and well-being. Norway’s King Harald V died, at the age of 89, on Friday. Harald V was succeeded by his 53-year-old son Haakon as the new King of Norway. King Haakon VIII will take the oath of allegiance to the country’s constitution on September 1.
