JEDDAH — The Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform Absher processed a total of 50,815,790 electronic transactions for beneficiaries during the last month of July. The number of transactions carried out through the Absher Individuals platform reached 47,869,218, including 37,089,458 document viewings via the digital document wallet available to citizens, residents, and visitors. Meanwhile, the number of transactions processed through the Absher Businesses platform reached 2,946,572. The number of transactions processed by the General Directorate of Public Security reached 3,636,963, including 3,535,290 transactions by the General Directorate of Traffic, 2,740,550 transactions by the General Directorate of Passports, and 694,946 transactions by the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Agency. Through the Absher Individuals platform, 161,932 reports were issued via the Absher Reports service, and 2,405 general inquiries regarding fingerprinting were processed. It is noteworthy that the unified digital IDs issued by the Ministry of Interior through the Absher platform enable citizens, residents, and visitors to easily and reliably access the services of the ministry’s various sectors through its electronic platforms: Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government. They also allow access to government and private entities through the National Unified Access Portal Nafath.
