PARIS — Aramco announced agreements and a memorandum of understanding with French companies with a potential combined value of more than $3.7 billion.The agreements and MoU were announced during the Saudi-French Investment Roundtable in Paris, attended by Aramco President and CEO Amin Nasser.Aramco said the collaborations are expected to strengthen its supply chain ecosystem, enhance operational continuity and efficiency, advance industrial artificial intelligence and digital technologies, and generate economic value for Saudi Arabia and France.The partnerships focus on project support, capacity building and capability development, technology transfer and innovation, as well as strengthening supply chain resilience.They include a corporate procurement agreement for drilling equipment and a purchase agreement for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG).An MoU involving Aramco Digital also establishes a framework for potential collaboration in industrial AI, virtual twin and digital twin technologies and related solutions, including potential applications in the oil and gas sector.The agreements come amid expanding Saudi-French economic and investment ties and growing cooperation between companies from the two countries across energy, advanced technology, industry and digital transformation.
