AYYAN Investment Co. provided additional details on its proposed capital reduction, announced in July.

The first step involves cutting capital from SAR 1.01 billion to SAR 807.6 million by reducing shares from 100.64 million to 80.76 million, a 19.75% reduction, canceling 19.88 million shares to offset accumulated losses, equivalent to 0.197 share for each share held.

The second step involves cutting capital from SAR 807.6 million to SAR 757.6 million by reducing shares from 80.76 million to 75.76 million, a 6.19% reduction. The company will cancel 5 million excess shares and return the corresponding amounts to shareholders, equivalent to 0.061 share for each share held.

The company said in a Tadawul statement that approval of the second step is conditional on shareholders approving the first. If the first is rejected, the second will be canceled and will not take effect.

According to Argaam data, AYYAN posted a loss of SAR 87.2 million in the first half of 2026, compared with a profit of SAR 385.2 million in the same period of 2025 while accumulated losses stood at SAR 198.77 million, or 19.75% of capital.
