Dar Albalad for Business Solutions Co. (DBS) board appointed Bassam Ibrahim Ibn Salamah as Managing Director (MD), effective Aug. 16, 2026, replacing Abdulaziz Ibrahim Ibn Salama. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company clarified that Bassam Ibn Salamah will hold the vacant executive seat on the board of directors until the end of the current term.
The appointment will be presented to the upcoming general assembly meeting for ratification.
Abdulaziz Ibn Salamah will continue to serve as a non-executive board member upon his request, the statement added.
Bassam Ibn Salamah holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and an MBA from King Saud University, alongside several professional certifications.
He has over 25 years of executive management, investment, strategic planning, and business development experience, having served as the group’s CEO and MD since 2001.
According to data available on Argaam, DBS was listed on Tadawul’s TASI on May 20, 2026.
