The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) will begin accepting applications today, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m. for the second year of the Real Estate Balance Program through its e-platform. 
Applications will remain open until Sept. 15, the state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. RCRC stressed that submission timing will not affect eligibility priority, with all applicants having equal opportunities throughout the registration period.
The commission said the second-year application is open to married citizens and those aged over 25, provided they meet the eligibility requirements, most notably having no prior real estate ownership and having resided in Riyadh for at least three years.
Citizens who applied in the first year, found eligible, but not selected in the electronic lottery, do not need to reapply, as their data is already registered on the platform. Those who were deemed ineligible last year must reapply after meeting the required conditions.
RCRC stressed that registration does not constitute final acceptance, as all applications will undergo e-verification against the approved eligibility requirements and criteria.
Following the application period, the program will proceed through eligibility verification, announcement of eligibility results, acceptance of objections, an electronic lottery for eligible applicants, and completion of off-plan sale procedures in accordance with the approved regulations.
The commission urged prospective applicants to use only the program’s e-platform and official channels and avoid dealing with unofficial links or accounts.
The contact center and beneficiary support channels are ready to provide assistance and answer inquiries regarding the application process and program stages, RCRC said.
