RIYADH — Active dust- and sand-stirring surface winds and high waves are forecast to affect much of the Kingdom’s western coast from Tuesday through the end of the week, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM). From Tuesday, August 11, to Saturday, August 15, active winds stirring up dust and sand are expected across coastal areas of the Makkah, Madinah, Asir, and Jazan regions, particularly along highways. The winds are also expected to be accompanied by high waves along the coasts of these regions.
