Ministry of Municipalities and Housing (MOMAH) revealed that approximately 15 million square meters of white land in the Qassim region has entered development or trading channels.
The ministry said the total comprises 606,000 square meters of fully developed land, six million square meters of white land that has entered the market, and eight million square meters still under development.
These efforts support the transformation of underutilized land into productive urban developments and real estate projects.
It added that revenue generated from white land fees has financed five housing projects, as well as supporting infrastructure projects in Qassim, reflecting the ministry’s efforts to channel fee proceeds into initiatives that promote urban development and accommodate the region’s population and urban growth.
According to Argaam data, the total area of white land that has entered development or trading channels across Saudi Arabia has reached approximately 279 million square meters. Revenue from white land fees has supported 71 housing and infrastructure projects.
