SALAMA Cooperative Insurance Co. received, on July 27, a notice from Alhamrani-Fuchs Petroleum Saudi Arabia Limited regarding a fire incident that occurred on July 25, at the insured premises located in Yanbu. 
Based on the reported incident, the company has appointed a loss adjuster licensed by the Insurance Authority to inspect the incident site and assess the damage resulting from the fire, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The company further clarified that the relevant insurance policy is reinsured with local and international reinsurers. Accordingly, the financial impact of the claim on its financial results is expected to be limited.
The extent of the damages and the final financial impact will be determined upon completion of the investigation and assessment by the appointed loss adjuster, said the company, noting that it will announce any material developments in due course.
