The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced that trading will resume on Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) starting from July 30, 2026, as the company published its financial statements for the period ending March 31, 2026.
In a statement, Tadawul said that it has exercised its powers stipulated in the Listing Rules to lift the suspension on trading the company’s shares.
As per Argaam’s data, Tadawul suspended trading on Chemanol stock on April 1, for one session, for failure to publish its 2025 financial statements within the regulatory deadline. It re-suspended trading on the stock on April 30, till the disclosure of the financial statements.
The company’s shareholders approved recently the a board recommendation to reduce capital by 77.8% to SAR 150 million from SAR 674.51 million to offset 90.76% of accumulated losses. They also gave a nod to transferring SAR 53.4 million from the statutory reserve to offset the remaining accumulated losses
