The company immediately activated its approved security procedures and protocols, implemented the necessary technical measures to contain the incident and secure the affected access point, it said in a statement to Tadawul.
Lumi has launched technical investigations and verification processes with the support of an external data protection specialist.
The incident did not involve any financial or banking data of Lumi’s customers or the company, the statement noted, adding that the incident has had no impact on business continuity or operational services.
Lumi’s core systems and services continue to operate normally.
Lumi added that it is continuing its technical investigation and assessment, has taken the required regulatory measures, and notified the relevant authorities.
The company reaffirmed that protecting customers’ privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of their information remain among its top priorities, and that it will continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard them in line with the highest standards and controls.
