RIYADH — Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iran’s attacks targeting Kuwaiti border posts, a Kuwait Oil Company offshore drilling platform, the Kuwaiti Consulate General in Basra, and two Emirati oil tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz, while denouncing Tehran’s continued threats against Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar.In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s strongest condemnation of the attacks, describing them as a continuation of Iran’s actions that threaten the security and stability of the region.Saudi Arabia reiterated its complete rejection of Iran’s violations of the sovereignty of fellow states, accusing Tehran of pursuing destabilizing policies that breach international law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the principles of good neighborliness.The Kingdom held Iran responsible for the consequences of its continued attacks and called on Tehran to immediately halt the blatant violations in order to preserve the security, stability, and safety of the region.Saudi Arabia also reaffirmed its full solidarity with the affected countries and their right to take measures necessary to safeguard their sovereignty and national security.
