In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the rigs were suspended as a precautionary measure in response to regional developments. The suspension was implemented in close coordination with customers and the relevant authorities, with safety remaining the highest priority.

The company expects the remaining offshore rigs that were previously suspended to resume operations during the second half of 2026, restoring its offshore drilling segment to full operating capacity.

It added that the offshore fleet utilization rate is expected to reach 100% by the end of 2026, reflecting a full recovery from the temporary suspension and a return to normal operating levels.

According to data available with Argaam, Arabian Drilling announced in March the temporary suspension of operations at certain offshore drilling rigs in the Arabian Gulf in light of developments related to the regional situation.
