CMA Vice Chairman granted excellent grade
King Salman issued a royal decree approving an amendment to Article 7 of the Capital Market Law, originally issued under Royal Decree No. M/30 dated July 31, 2003. 
The amendment adds a new paragraph stipulating that the CMA chairman shall hold the rank of minister, while the vice chairman shall hold the excellent grade.
The decree also instructs the prime minister, ministers, and heads of relevant independent authorities to implement the amendment.
Youssef Al-Bilihid has served as CMA Vice Chairman since 2017, while Mohammed Elkuwaiz is the authority’s Chairman.
