A manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) fell 18.7% year-on-year (YoY) in Mayto 87.9 points, from 108.1 points a year earlier, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said.
GASTAT attributed the decline to lower output in the mining and quarrying and manufacturing avtivities.
The IPI measures the relative change in production quantities of materials and goods, tracking their transformation from raw materials to final consumable products for economic returns.
