Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet has required government entities to procure ambulances through the National Unified Procurement Co. (NUPCO). 
According to a decision published in the official gazette Umm Al-Qura on Sunday, the Cabinet said the measure must not result in additional costs to the state treasury or require an increase in approved budget ceilings.
The decision follows a request from the finance minister to centralize the procurement of ambulances and related equipment through NUPCO.
