RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and denunciation of the continued blatant violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities in the region, most recently the incursions into Syrian territory and the shelling of the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa with artillery. In a statement, the ministry expressed Saudi Arabia’s total rejection of the intimidation of innocent civilians by the Israeli occupation forces and their violations of international law and norms. The Kingdom emphasized the importance of halting the Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty and adhering to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in a manner that preserves the security and stability of the region, and reiterated its support for Syria’s sovereignty and the unity of its territory.
