Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Co. (Fakeeh Care) signed today, June 28, two Shariah-compliant credit facility agreements worth a combined SAR 2.2 billion with Saudi National Bank (SNB) and Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) to finance the Fakeeh Care Group’s expansion and growth plans.

The company said in two statements on Tadawul that the SNB facility totals SAR 1.25 billion, comprising SAR 1 billion in long-term financing, SAR 250 million in short-term financing, and treasury products while the SAB agreement is valued at SAR 950 million, including SAR 800 million in long-term financing and SAR 150 million in short-term financing.

Both credit facilities are secured by promissory notes only, and will be available to Fakeeh Care and certain group entities, the company said, adding that there are no related parties to both agreements.
