SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co.’s Ground Handling Division signed, on June 25, a new strategic agreement with Singapore Airlines to provide comprehensive integrated solutions covering ground handling, and air cargo.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said there is no set value; services are paid for on demand and in accordance with the prices specified in the agreement, noting that the deal is an annual renewable agreement.
Under this agreement, SAL will provide comprehensive operational services ensuring the seamless flow of Singapore Airlines operations at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh. These services include, among others, cargo ground handling, aircraft loading and offloading, and other ramp operations for flights operated.
This agreement reinforces SAL’s strategy to enhance the efficiency and reliability of its services provided. The collaboration further strengthens operational excellence and supports the expansion of SAL’s integrated service portfolio across the air cargo ground handling services industry, the statement added.
The agreement is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s financial results over the duration of the agreement, SAL said, indicating that no related parties are included in the deal.
