In a post on the “Truth Social” platform on Wednesday, Trump added that negotiations with Iran would end immediately if this information proved to be incorrect, emphasizing that Tehran does not collect any fees, insurance costs, or other burdens from ships transiting the strait.

The US President also denied providing any funds to Iran or releasing any of its assets.

He explained that Washington intends to use a portion of the Iranian funds under its control to purchase American agricultural products—including corn, wheat, and soybeans—to meet food needs inside Iran.
