Umm Al Qura for Development announced that its Masar Destination project has been included within the geographic areas in Makkah where non-Saudis are permitted to own real estate, as per the Council of Ministers’ approval.
The project was approved under the Non-Saudi Real Estate Ownership Law, its executive regulations, and the related ownership rules.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the development is expected to broaden the pool of eligible investors able to benefit from investment opportunities within the Masar Destination project, noting that the financial impact cannot be determined at this stage.
Any material developments related to the matter will be disclosed in due course, the statement noted.
According to Argaam data, the Council of Ministers, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, approved yesterday the geographic areas where non-Saudis are allowed to own property.
