Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SASCO) said its board of directors approved today, June 18, the resignation of Riyadh Almalik from his position as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 31, at his request due to personal reasons.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said Almalik will continue to serve as a member of the board and its affiliated committees.
The board also approved the appointment of Mohammed Al-Hajjaj as Chief Executive Officer, effective Aug. 1.
According to the statement, Al-Hajjaj holds a bachelor’s degree in applied electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Dayton in the United States.
He previously served as CEO of ENGIE and brings extensive experience in management and investment.
