RIYADH — The Ministry of Commerce has recalled 717 Land Rover Evoque vehicles from model years 2021 to 2025 due to a defect in the front passenger-side airbag. The recall, issued in cooperation with the Defective Products Recall Center, was prompted by a defect that may cause the airbag to tear during deployment in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury. The defect could result in the release of hot gases that could cause burns. Vehicle owners are advised to verify whether their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included in the recall through Recalls.sa and to contact Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co. to have the necessary repairs carried out free of charge.
